Meet Caroline,
Caroline suffers from Fibromyalgia, a chronic condition with many symptoms including fatigue, headaches, problems with concentration and memory, muscle and bone pain. She also has Scoliosis and Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction.
Due to her medical issues, Caroline has had to withdraw from two courses, and is now on her third attempt at studying. However, despite this, things are looking positive for Caroline, as she says, “so far, I’ve gotten further than I have in my last two attempts, and I’m determined to finish it to the end”.
Caroline says, “I don’t give up easily, it’s the outcome which keeps me motivated”. Because of this, we’re sure Caroline’s story will have a very positive ending.
Caroline’s advice to students is “don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it, everyone learns at different paces and teachers are there to help”.
